The Elephant Tea Room is a small tea house with a loyal set of regulars and a problem every neighborhood cafe recognizes: the people who love it already know about it, and nobody else is hearing. Posts went out irregularly, drew a handful of reactions and disappeared. New customers were not finding the room, and the existing ones had no reason to think about it between visits.

SeedSocial started with the content itself. Posts were rebuilt around the teas, the pastries and the room, with captions that asked a question or invited a choice, and they went out on a fixed schedule in the hours the audience was actually on the app. The account replied to every comment and engaged with local accounts so the algorithm had a reason to show the posts to people nearby.
