EYESPOT is an independent optometry practice and designer eyewear boutique outside Boston, the kind of business that had grown on word of mouth: about 3,000 customers, 90% of them referrals. When BusySeed started in January 2020 the practice wanted two new leads a week from digital, a number it had never measured.
The starting point was 947 Facebook followers with a 0.38% engagement rate, 551 on Instagram, 86 Google reviews, and no paid search. Two months later the pandemic closed the store, and the account spent most of 2020 running eye care ads at $12.66 a day.

Google Search carried lead generation with separate campaigns for eye care appointments, dry eye treatment and facial aesthetics, each sending people to a form rather than a homepage, and the whole thing ran at $380 a month through the closures. Waze ads put the store on the map for drivers nearby. Facebook page likes ads at $100 a month rebuilt the following, Google Business Profile posts and review responses kept the practice visible, and two SeedSites launched to support the original store and the new Wellesley location that opened in September 2021.
